Loyalty and Options
There is a lot of loyalty amongst the different dorm communities at Binghamton University. Every one has their own events to perpetuate and bolster the camaraderie between residents. And, if students ever decide they want to try apartment living but don't want to leave campus, we have two apartment communities at the top of the hill - a 5 min walk to campus. Some of the dorm buildings are a tad old and dingy, especially when compared to the new buildings, but all the dorms here are great for experiencing college.

Binghamton Bearcats
Our campus pretty much revolves around our basketball team, the Bearcats. Soccer is our homecoming game, but very few besides the international students really care. I wish we had a football team. In America, that's what puts a college on the nation's radar.

Free!
We have a great system of buses that are free for students. Many of the city buses have stops on campus, and riding is free with a student ID card. We also have our own system of Binghamton buses called OCCT. They tend to be unreliable and late, but they're free and tend to be the only way for underclassmen to get anywhere.
