Welcome to Middle America
I feel like the majority of the students at UConn and middle class white people. However, our international student body is large, and our cultural groups are very important on campus. The Asian-American group is one of the largest on campus. We could be more diverse, but since we are in Connecticut, the majority seem to be the stereotypical Connecticut residents.

We Need More Parking
Resident parking lots are few and far between. Commuters have a lot of parking, but still not enough. We're definitely over capacity with vehicles. During the day, it seems that some commuters even park in resident lots, leaving no where for residents to park but the parking garages. Tickets are pricey, and police are strict on dorm building load zones (only given 30 minutes to park there).

Bring Your Car!
UConn is very isolated. It's basically it's own town. There are many things on campus, and many off-campus restaurants that will deliver late at night. Everything is a good walking distance. It is nice to have a car because the Buckland Hills mall is only 30 minutes away. Stores, restaurants, and civilization are 15 minutes in either direction from campus. So if you ever want to get away for a while and see something new or go shopping or eat off campus, I suggest bringing your car.

Go Huskies!
Isn't it obvious by our basketball wins that we have the best teams in the country? Our sports are awesome, and our club sports are great too if a person didn't make UConn's team, or just like playing for fun. UConn life revolves around our sports and we're very proud huskies.
