Music Building
The Music Building at Northern Illinois University could really use some renovation. The majority of the pianos in the practice rooms are very out of tune, and the practice rooms are not sound proof so you can hear the Violinist next door while you are trying to practice piano. The elevators are very old and the class rooms could use smart-boards and ceiling repairs.

Computer Labs
The computer labs at Northern Illinois University are great. They have computer labs in all of the dorms, the library, the Student Center, and in the Music Building. Computer and internet access is very easy for students. The computers are also newer and work fast.

Awful Parking
The parking for students with cars at Northern Illinois University is very inconvenient. Students must buy overpriced parking permits or deal with constantly having to move their cars out of certain zones at very precise hours. Its a nightmare.
