Biology/Psychology Double Major
Being in the science department at this school is extremely challenging. The double major with the social science is a nice break from all the lab-work. As long as you stay up to date on the course work and complete your homework, you can keep track of the lecture part of the course. Taking a lab course adds three to four hours of class time per week, and another five or six hours of homework per lab.

Social Life
Most of the students at DU are really dedicated to studying. A lot of socializing is formed around getting together to study. It's really diverse in terms of looks and types of people, and people are really welcoming to meeting new people.

Weather at DU
It's Colorado weather! Classes get cancelled for the big snow storms, but you might end up making the journey to a night lab in a blizzard every once in a while. Mostly it's nice and on nice days, everyone's outside playing frisbee and loud music and eating BBQ.
