Minority Perspective
A lot of the students here Jewish and Caucasian. That being said, I am a minority and have always felt welcome by pretty much everyone. I have yet to become heavily involved in African American oriented clubs and organizations, but they din't seem to have a very visible presence on campus she compared to the Jewish Hillel organization for instance.

Don't Expect Much
There are some clubs off of College Hill that are 18+, but they aren't very high quality. The parties on campus also aren't anything special. There are more options if you are over 21, but they are nothing to be excited about.

Happiest Students? Oh Now I Understand
Brown is pretty much awesome. The class options are fantastic, ranging from Into the Machine- a survey of science fiction literature- to Biotechnology in the Modern World. Even though it is tempting tp spend all of your time socializing with all of the interesting people here, you have to study unless you want to sink. Definitely choose Brown if you want an academically stimulating education that you don't have to sacrifice a vibrant social life for.
