Hybrid Courses – I have not taken any classes that were online only. I have taken hybrids that meet once or twice a week with most of the work online. The advantage of hybrids is that you still get face time with the proffessor. This is crucial as some online setups can be confusing.

The Professors Are Amazing – Considering its status as a community college. Very experienced, caring and intelligent proffesors populate the staff here at Pierce. They push you to the edge and prepare you for your four-year transfer. As a science major, I am proud to be learning in this environment. The classes are first rate and very comprable to any four year university. Some classes are very difficult, bu the professors are always there to help.

A Very Well Rounded School – Pierce is very flexible when it comes to your chosen career path. There is much assistance available to get you through your classes. The tutoring center at the Fort Steilacoom campus is outstanding. There are many professors, advisors and other staff that will go out of thier way to assist you with whatever problems you may have. If you are looking for a place to start and you live in south puget sound, Pierce is the best option to get you on your way to success.
