Great Acedemics
Kent State at Tusc. offers many different majors. The advisers will assist you whenever possible. Tutoring hours are always offered in the library with one on one help. The classrooms are also very small in student numbers, making learning more personal. There are plenty of study areas for students as well as many computer labs.

Not for Eveyone
You can easily put money on your Flashcard so the cafeteria is always available to you. But there is little selection from my perspective, and they are a little over priced.They have every drink you can imagine though!! You are better off going to the Taco Bell 7 minutes away to get something you enjoy for a great price!But i can't complain for the convenience of having it there when you need something quick!

Not Too Bad
At Kent State Tusc. Living in Ohio, you will always have bad weather but because the campus is small and buildings are close together, the only problem is getting there!

Good Atmosphere
Kent State Tuscarawas is located in New Philadelphia,OH. It's kind of a small town feel with not much to do but the convenience stores are only 5 minutes away from campus! It may seem dull at first but not having much to do is better so you can focus on your studies. There are plenty of restaurants though and the campus is something to do in itself! It all depends on your point of view!

Computer Labs
There are many available computer labs at Kent State Tuscarawas. They have an upstairs lab which has comfortable lounge chairs, vending machines and a help desk. It may get noisy at times so you always have the option of the library computers. It is quieter and has a printer and scanner but they cost 7 cents a copy! i bought my own printer! There are also places around campus that give you the option of plugging in your own laptop, which work out nice as well!

Veterinay Technician Program
At Kent State Tuscarawas, the vet tech program is very difficult. The class only begins with 24 students which is nice for small lab sizes! You have to take all the required courses at a high workload if you wish to finish in the intended time of two years. You have to take the max amount of credit hours allowed and many cannot handle the work load. I am now in my second semester of my first year and we are now down to 13 students due to failure and dropout rates!!! Although it is a difficult program, after every class you leave feeling like you know more now then you did before! I have learned a lot in one semester and if it is something you are passionate about, you will succeed!

Many Restaurants
There are plenty of restaurants around Kent State Tusc. Because the campus is so close to town! you can pick any restaurant and there will be one within at least ten minutes of the school! it's a nice option if you don't want to eat at the school or you have time to kill in between classes!

Normal
Kent State Tusc. is just as strict at school policies as any other university should. Smoking areas are marked by pavilions and students and professors may only smoke there!Cheating is not tolerated and respect is always a must. The school is forceful for a reason but not unreasonable!
