Printing Is the Problem, Not Computer Quality or Availability
There are a lot of public computers on-campus, and there's usually a lot available - the ones in the libraries fill up quickly but there's a bunch in the other academic buildings too that aren't as commonly used. The only downside is getting charged for printing - it adds up quickly because Smith professors assign TONS of reading! Also, most of the school computers are PCs, which is important to remember your own personal computer is a Mac. If it's really impossible for you to have a personal computer you could make it work, but it really is better to have one here. Wireless access can be kind of iffy in residential houses.

Typical New England Weather
humid summer and cold snowy/rainy winter, but spring and fall are PERFECT. the weather is far better fall semester than spring semester. it could be a lot worse - the weather's even more severe in the midwest. but if you really can't handle snow or cold for long periods of time, like, if that's actually a dealbreaker for you, then you probably shouldn't come to school here.
