Indiana University Southeast Is Rich With Diversity
While diverse culturally,the Indiana University population embraces different perspectives and beliefs. The campus environment has an ecclectic and creative feel- often hosting programs for groups of different sexual orientation or cultural association. Instead of singling out those who are different, they enlighten the student body about different behavioral, cultural and religious beliefs. This fosters inclusion. Additionally, the outstanding staff is comprised of professors from many different countries, each with their own religious and cultural beliefs. They set an outstanding example for the students- demonstrating acceptance.

Drug and Alcohol Use Is Strictly Forbidden and Enforced.
Our campus has a police force. The presence of police discourages illegal behavior. Additionally, the use of drugs or alcohol will result in the perpetrator being kicked out of school. I have not witnessed, nor do I know of any problems associated with drugs, alcohol or negative behaviors.

There Is an Air of Open Acceptance on the Indiana University Southeast Campus.
The Indiana University Southeast grounds are spread out and very beautiful. It is not unusual to see a student napping under a tree or relaxing on a park bench or walking by the pond. The many student organizations can be found passing out free food or items from time to time to all students that pass by. Students feel free to be themselves- and are accepted by the student body. Many opportunities to gather socially are sponsored; dances, talent shows, excercise classes, karaoke etc. Additionally, we love our sports teams- everyone rallies together at sports events.
