NYC as a Campus
Hunter College is located in the heart of New York City, Manhattan. You can use your student ID to get into practically any museum for free. The school is located right by Central Park, so you can relax in NYC's largest green-space in between classes. There is also always something happening on and off campus, film festivals, book readings, special art exhibitions, you name it! President Obama and the Dali Lama even visited and spoke at Hunter College during my time here. Hunter is in an exceptionally safe area as well, the Upper East Side. No inappropriate cat calls here! (Unless you happen to pass by a construction site, in which case that's just inevitable.) For Hunter students, NYC is our campus.

A-
Weather Schmeather
New York City just had a hurricane and was up and running the next day. This resulted in only half a day off from classes, while other Universities in the area were off all day. This was bad for the lazy students, but good for our overall education! Weather has little impact on Hunter College students. If it rains you wear rain boots and bring and umbrella, if it snows, WE WILL STILL HAVE SCHOOL. Sigh.
