Football Is a Blast
Football is a huge part of Virginia Tech and is so much fun. People always get together to tailgate and the after-parties are great. Our football team is great and the program is well organized. Student tickets can be difficult to come by but if there is always a lottery for free student tickets.

Apartment Parties and Frats
Apartment Parties are so much fun as well. Always free beer and there is always someone throwing down. Downtown is really for people who are over 21 and have a fake ID. But partying for unders is still very possible and not hard to come by.

Weather Is Pretty Crappy
It rains a lot of Blacksburg. The wind is pretty awful and snow is brutal. It is pretty expected because we live in the mountains. However, when it is nice it is really beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous. Views of the mountains while hiking is breathtaking. Just invest in some rain boots!
