The student body is extremely diverse and I like that. There are students right out of high school to older people like me who finally decided what they wanted to be when they grow up, and everything in between. I learn a lot of different things from all of them. The young has taught me how to use the computer, the middle has taught me how to study effectively, and the older has taught me how to juggle school, work, and home life without losing my mind.

They Have All Kinds of Resources – We have no athletic center- but we we have a whole staff of people who are there to help you. Our library is state of the art and has everything you could possibly need. It is a brand new building and it is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need is on this campus!!

Excellent People – I worked closely with one person, but now everyone knows me by name and always me how things are going. They all have been a great help and a very encouraging team for me. My own Career Service person, Tesa, has called me at home to give her condolences when my Grandmother passed away and has called me to make sure the instructors are working with me to get caught up. All these people have made me feel so special and encourage me everyday!!

They Have Been Very Flexible – At the beginning of the quarter, my Grandmother became very ill and missed two classes- my Grandmother passed away July 13th. I got behind in all my courses, but the instructors and Program Director worked with me and helped me get caught up. As of now I have 1 A and two B's ( that are close to being A's). I had not been in school for 12 years and could not remember how to pull out the information in the textbooks so I could study for tests. Everyone worked with me and on two mid-terms I have all ready taken, I made 103 on one and 99.5 on the other one. I have NEVER been to a school that cares so much about their students on an individual basis.

Too Many Trips Back and Forth – I am going into Surgical Tech.- cost $37,440 for two years. It includes everything so it is worth the money. Dealing with Financial Aid has not gone very well. I have made 6 trips up there, just to find out I could only get a small loan. No one tried to get scholarships or grants to help me with the tuition. Every trip up there was to try to find some money for me- but walked out with nothing but frustration. I am responsible each month of school over $500 and I wait tables for a living. Which I have had to take off of work to go to the school!
