Pretty Safe
I always take extra precautions with my safety. I always keep my door locked and at night I never walk alone. I really love the Safe Walk service Illinois State has put in place. It's nice to know that if there isn't anybody to walk with, all you have to do is make a call and a campus police officer will come to walk with you.

Many Options
There are many places to eat in Normal. I love Jimmy Johns and there are 2 within walking distance from campus. Just a short bus ride away is shopping and movies and other fun things to do.

Good
Illinois State has a good blend of people. I would say that the population at Illinois State represents the normal population well. There are many attractive people and some not so attractive, but there is someone for everyone.
