There are many tutoring centers available for help in topics like calculus and physics. Most professors are available for extra help with the course work. Classes like calculus and physics have workshops where you get to work on practice problems from lessons that were just thought and many professors give points for it.

Snow and Rain
It rains and snows a lot here. Classes are usually a 10 minute walk away from the dorms. But there's been nice weather like not having any snow during November.

Average for Most Colleges
To get into the chemical engineering program there weren't any special application when applying. A good well balanced rigorous course load with Advanced Placement classes is what most colleges look for. RIT especially looks at math and science courses. Make your admission essay reflect you. The admission officers can see your academic side through your transcripts so make the essay reflect the person you are that's not reflected on the transcript, write something you're passionate about.
