Hard but the Work Is Manageable If There Is Effort
The academics offer the perfect amount of effort, studying, and work. Most classes are hard but not unbearable, one justs needs to want to do well and study. Although the classes are hard, but most times the professor is available during office hours for help. Some professors are better than others, but that is expected. The libraries are great for studying and study groups are popular too.

Love It
I live in Shenandoah and it's a brand new building and i love it! I am lucky because my hall is really close with one another and I have made some great friends. E-hall and Festival are really close which is really nice. The only bad part is it is a little bit of a walk to the quad, but busses are really helpful too. The hall is cleaned every day.

Girl to Guy Ratio Is Horrible
Coming from a school full of skaters, the way others dress was different but I liked it. It is really preppy, but there are many more girls than guys at JMU. Most girls have difficulty trying to find a guy. Everyone is really nice however.
