Academics at UR
University of Rochester has an academics program that can be best described as OK. The courses are rigorous - which is good. And the professors are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. However, the registration process can be annoying, the classes you want fill up quickly, and this school doesn't really cater to your needs unless you're a science major.

UR Off Campus Housing
The University of Rochester is located near the artsy center of the city. I have always lived in Rochester and houses here are generally cheap to rent. But all of the apartments close to the school are expensive. But the pros are that the houses are in a nice area of the city with lots of cute shops and restaurants near-by!

UR Is Pretty Awesome
Knowledgeable professors, attractive students, a beautiful campus in a great city...what more could you ask for? As long as you remember to put school above your social life, it's a great school!
