Computers at University of Connecticut

A

Savvy Tech

The computers at UCONN, for the most part, are very new and updated. There are a bunch of computer labs, and even laptops to borrow at the library if necessary. Printing on campus costs money, so it is advised to bring your own printer. The wireless and ethernet connection are both reliable, fast, and available almost anywhere, and any issues are quickly addressed by HuskyTech, the IT services run by students. Personal computers and printers are definitely suggested, since most students are using them for every single class and assignment.

Diversity at University of Connecticut

A-

A Good Mixture

There is a good mixture of diversity here on campus, regarding ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. There are a multitude of clubs and organizations to support each option, along with a handful of churches for religion.

Greek Life at University of Connecticut

A

Great Greek Life

Greek life is a huge part of campus; Husky Village is an entire dorm area specifically for sororities and fraternities. Rushing and pledging is a very hectic but entertaining time; both sororities and fraternities try to get many involved in many ways. Non-Greeks tend to think Greeks are traditional stuck-up prissy students, but not all are like that. The school is pretty accepting.
