EXPENSIVE
It is quite a luxury to have a car here at University of California Irvine the cost is 85 dollars a month which adds up to about 1000 dollars just to have your car on campus. There are many campus garages but you might be better off just taking a bus or shuttle here they drop you off as close as a car would.

Amazing Shuttle Service
UC Irvine has a shuttle service that takes you just about anywhere and and it comes to the very near shuttle stops in very short intervals of time. The service goes as far as the nearest town which is convenient for any necessary purposes at a mall.

Horrible Financial Aid!!!!!
If your parents make under 80,000 dollars you apply for the blue and gold program which is very helpful because it covers your whole tuition the problem is it uses your cal grant money and therefore they leave you with no money to pay for room and board which in the uci housing case comes out to be very expensive leaving you to pay around 11,000 a year.
