Very Eccentric
Lawrence is one of those towns that surprise people. It has a vast amount of different types of people. The University of Kansas has a great deal to do with why Lawrence is filled with an amazing amount of uniqueness. Downtown Lawrence is where all the fun happens, great restaurants, locally owned businesses and a very accepting atmosphere. I've lived in Lawrence my whole life and have never become bored!

Good Variety
Campus food is pretty good. The main eating establishment on campus besides the dining halls is the Underground which features a variety of different foods from Pizza Hut to sushi! It definitely has something for everyone and the other eating establishments at KU also have good variety so you never get tired of eating on campus.

Adds Some Flavor
The Greek life at KU is well-known. They host parties with different themes and people that are involved with the Greek life can be easily spotted on campus. The Greek life does a good job of recruiting people and trying to have a variety of "brothers" and "sisters." The fraternities and sororities are a big part of KU and for a good reason, they have fundraisers and encourage people to step out of their comfort zone.
