I Always Feel Safe
I always feel safe on Colgate's campus. In a remote, small town setting, it is very easy to do so. Walking home at night from the library, I feel completely safe and never worry. Campus safety is always nearby, cruising around campus, and the officers are very friendly and accessible. Further, there is the Colgate Cruiser which I often rely on if I decide to head up to my dorm before my friends do.

Depends
Colgate has two main libraries with a decent amount of computers available; however, be aware that there is not always one for everyone, especially during busy library hours. Printing is free, which a lot of students take advantage of with long article print outs instead of purchasing their own ink--but to do so, one must go to the library. There are not printing stations within the dorms. Colgate's campus is also entirely wireless and I have not encountered any problems with the network .

Not Bad, Could Be Better
The closest airport is Syracuse International. Colgate has a contract with a bus service that you can call and organize a shuttle with. It can be costly--$100 if it is only one of you. However, for most breaks you can usually find a couple people to split with and it averages around $40 each way. The Travel Agency also sells tickets to Syracuse Mall, New York City, and other east-coast locations for breaks. Local transportation consists of the Colgate cruiser which is hypothetically convenient, but rarely on time.
