For Good Food Go to Oaklan Dor Southside
There is not much within a five minute walk of campus except a few things downtown but the liveliest areas are the Southside with plenty of bars and restaurants which is not too far and Oakland where the University of Pittsburgh is located. Oakland is centered towards college kids with lots of good cheap food. If you are a fan of Asian cuisine then Oakland is definitely the spot for you.

The Rules Are Terrible
The dorms themselves are not too bad. Lots of heat and AC depending on the temperature, but the rules are incredibly infuriating. It's a catholic school so members of the opposite sex cannot sleep in your room, even if they are family. It's infuriating.

Lots of Rich White Kids.
There are many multicultural people here but for the most part everyone is white and everyone has money. It is not hard to get along with people. Everyone is very accepting and kind but it is not particularly diverse.
