Love Texas Tech Athletics
Get your guns up because you are coming to Raiderland for game day! Texas Tech traditions on campus are flag decorations, tailgating and the wrapping of Tech's statue Will Rogers and his horse Soapsuds. We have the masked rider that runs out onto the field at all the home games, and Raider Red who cheers with the cheerleaders. From the game of rugby to the game of football Texas Tech students and faculty are always at the games supporting our athletes. Texas Tech also offer inter mural sports, which also receive support from the students. Athletics are a big part of Tech and the traditions the founders have made and our school rivalries will fade.

Alcohol and Drugs
At Tech the drug scene is not that popular. Yes we party but you do not hear a lot about drug busts nor do you hear about students doing hard core drugs. There has been a few busts, but there always will be and these busts have all been taken care of in the approximate manner. Every place on or off campus are safe places to have fun and feel safe. Tech does offer safe ride which helps get students to their dorms if they do not have a designated driver or are intoxicated. This safe ride only picks the students up and drops them off at their dorm, they do not take students to other parties.

Will Always Love It Here
If there could be a A++ option for the grade I would personal pick it. I absolutely LOVE Texas Tech! Everyone that you meet here are wonderful, they are nice and helpful. Game days are my favorite, I love the tradition that Tech has. I also love how the buildings look, an old spanish home sort of style, very inviting when I first saw the campus. The learning environment I also love, its not easy to pass here, you have to work hard to get the grade.
