I Love the Library - and I Never Used to.
UCSD has many libraries and lounges in which you can comfortably get your studying done. I love the main/biggest library, Geisel, because not only is it beautiful but there are many places in which you should be able to find the right environment you need for getting your work done. I never used to enjoy libraries but here you have the levels where you can chat with neighbors, or the levels which are designated for complete silence. The study rooms with the views are awesome and the people are generally pretty helpful.

Many of One Ethnicity
Naturally, UCSD has many people. I am definitely impressed by the different nationalities that I come across. But everyone around campus, and even just visitors, know there is a landslide of one particular ethnicity. This is not seen as a bad thing, just very apparent.

Student Involvement and School Spirt.
Student involvement at UCSD is very impressive. You do not only have to be an athlete to feel apart of the school. There is a very large number of ways a student here can get involved in the school. School spirit is great, and so fun. It seems that most people enjoy representing their college, and the university. Especially having 6 different colleges, makes it more fun to take part in school spirit, because you can represent your colleges while still all representing UCSD. I think it is great that so many student can easily get involved at any level here at school.
