Texas Tech Facilities
All of the facilities on campus are clean and there's always someone around to help you. The librarians and the people at the Student Info Desk in the Student Union Building are especially helpful.

Texas Tech Transportation
The transportation at Texas Tech is great on campus. There are buses and trolleys running all the time that can take you across campus or across town. The university also offers a 'safe-ride' program for students who are lost/need a ride home from anywhere in Lubbock for free after 8PM.

Overall Experience at Tech
My overall experience so far at Tech has been great! Almost all of the people are nice and very helpful. I really love how much school spirit the students have, there isn't a day when you don't see hundreds of Tech shirts and I think that's great. I don't think I could see myself at any other place, Tech is definitely the one for me.

Texas Tech Parking
There's plenty of parking on campus and the parking permits on campus are relatively inexpensive. Depending on where you live determines if you need a car but if living on campus I would definitely use a bike before a car-- there's just too many people walking and riding bikes to drive a car.

Lubbock Weather
Lubbock is usually really warm however when it rains if typically cools off really quickly. Also, when it rains it floods because there isn't much drainage in Lubbock.

Academics at Tech
I personally feel like the professors at Tech really care about how their students are doing in class. They will definitely help any student out if the student asks!
