Pretty Lenient – Butler is a pretty understanding school. The rules are definitely enforced, but you get at least one chance before serious action is taken. BUPD (the on campus police) are very understanding. Unless you're being blatantly rude or disrespectful, their first priority is your safety.

Pretty Similar – I would say the diversity here is average. Most people seem to come from similar economic backgrounds. As far as race, white/caucasian is the majority. However, we do have a nice diversity center that hosts events and mixers for all types of students.

Broad Ripple – There is a very cool college town named Broad Ripple that is a 5 minute drive from campus. It's so close and convenient! There are tons of restaurants from Mexican, to Delis, to whole in the wall type bars. It is a great place to just go and walk around if you're bored on a weekend.
