Mountain Campus
Warren Wilson College is located in the heart of the Appalachians. There are peaks and farmland in every direction you look. Asheville, a popular city with plenty of restaurants and attractions, is just 20 minutes down the road, and the quaint town of Black Mountain is in the other direction. Unless you really enjoy the outdoors, there is not much to do, but it's perfect for a country-lover.

Relatively Safe
We've got Public Safety, who just roll around campus in their SUV all day long, and I would trust them to show up in a timely fashion if I ever had to call them about a safety emergency. I wouldn't drink a beer in front of them, though.

Gotta Pay, but Plenty of Room
A year-long parking permit is a mere $50 and there is always room to park in the main parking lot by the dorms. Parking spots right next to your dorm is not always available, though.
