Super Safe
Never felt nervous walking on campus. Recommend walking of campus in groups however.

Off Campus Housing
Off campus housing is super cheap but unless you live off of Coddington a car is recommended. I lived on Prospect and although I didn't have a car, my friends lived next store and took me to class. Housing is really affordable and a fun experience.

Off Campus Dining
Food in Ithaca is delicious!! My friends and I always reminisce how great viva, shortstop deli, boatyard grille, Simeon's were.. pretty much anywhere you go for food downtown is AMAZING and affordable (especially when parent's are in town.)

On Campus Housing
Freshman year: Towers
Sophomore Year: Emerson
Junior Year: Garden Apartments
Senior Year: Move off campus already!
Housing is convenient and dorm life is awesome. Students at Ithaca like to have fun but I never had a problem with too much noise at night.

Drugs and Alcohol
A lot of students at Ithaca drink alcohol and smoke pot. If you aren't into that scene move to Hood Hall where it is not aloud.

Campus Dining
There are multiple dining halls and food for every diet. Late night is delicious/unhealthy so avoid going too often!!

Parking
Freshman are advised not to bring cars and the freshman parking lot is in the MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. Sophomore year forward.. a car is fine to have.

Ithaca Is Awesome
Ithaca offers many study abroad programs. I attended Ithaca College London Centre, IC Los Angeles and IC Washington, DC. Take advantage of what Ithaca has to offer. The type of students that attend school here are very nice, social, and intelligent. It was the best four years of my life.

The computer center is open all night and I never had a problem finding an open computer.

Ithaca Is Cold
Ithaca is gorgeous when you arrive in the fall and when you leave in the spring. Enjoy the nice weather when you can. It gets cold!
