Thought It Was Better

I personally have not had the best experience with Bentley's academics. Many of my major professors (in finance) have not been helpful, and do not understand what they are teaching. There was a time my sophomore and part of my junior year where during class registrations, you could not see which professor was teaching the class you were signing up for. A lot of the tenured professors stop caring after they reach tenure and in many cases, you are better off with an adjunct professor.

I do have to say, that I have never had a class taught by a T.A. or a grad student, nor have I had a class larger than 37 students (the fact is that there is no classroom on this campus large enough for a class larger than 45).

The grading system can suck at times and many of the students around you are only studying for the grade and that can hurt you if you're there trying to actually learn something.

Well There Are 7 Parking Lots on Campus...

Parking isn't really a problem at Bentley. There are enough spots for everyone..it's just a matter of finding a spot closest to your building, but even then nothing is more than 10 minutes away. You don't need a car on campus, either a friend will have a car or you can take the shuttle to get somewhere.

Freshman aren't allowed to have cars on campus except for special circumstances. Parking permits are free to students and parking for friends visiting isn't a problem either.

Fairly Good

A lot of my friends were able to attend Bentley because Bentley gave them the most amount of financial aid. I didn't get too much my freshman year but I've gotten more as the years went on. The financial aid process isn't difficult and I haven't had any problems. I would suggest calling financial aid or paying them a visit about a week after you submit any forms or paperwork, just to make sure they have it and to be on the safe side.
