Just Be Smart
I never felt unsafe at Vassar; campus security does a good job of patrolling and I was almost walking with a group of my friends. Poughkeepsie itself isn't the safest town though, so off campus is a difference story. There were petty thefts as there are most places, but if you keep an eye on your belongings and pay attention to your surroundings you shouldn't have any problems.

Not an Athletic School
We're very much an academic institution. While there are organized athletics and a ton of intermural opportunities, we don't even have a football team.

I'd Go Back in a Heartbeat
The amount of fun I had, the things I learned, the ways that I grew at Vassar ... it's indescribable. I would do it all over again, and again and again if I could.
