You Must Go Off Campus or Go Greek
There is no night life at UCSD. All the rumors are true. Those in the greek system have the most parties. Athletes have the second most parties. Clubs have the third most parties. Those in the greek system have the exclusive parties, athletes have the connections to parties, and clubs just do their own thing. If you will be neither of those three, go to downtown San Diego and pay for a club. A real club is where all the beautiful people of San Diego are anyway. BUT, the majority of the clubs are 21+. So pretty much you can't do anything here until you are 21 or older. If you stay on campus, you won't find anyone that good looking to go for.

There Are Many Parking Lots, but Very Little Space
We have numerous parking structures, but there is roughly 25,000 students who attend UCSD. You are better off taking public transportation. If you want to park, be on campus between 7-8am if you want to have a chance at finding a spot.

Changing Majors
I entered UCSD as an Aerospace engineer major. I later changed to Structural Engineering with complete ease. It is extremely easy to change majors as long as your intended major is not impacted. If it is not impacted, all you have to do is click a button online and you are done. If your intended major is impacted, i believe the process is difficult.
