Varied Options Despite Meal Plan
Although the meal plan is convenient, the options get repetitive after awhile. Places are around campus and in the student union are cheap options and varied- even vegan-friendly. Convenience stores are located in multiple places around campus if you're in a jam or just feeling too lazy to go to the store.

Almost Any Restaurant You Can Think of
From Carrabba's, Chipotle, Panera Bread, to Bone Fish Grill. Most of the restaurants can be found on Archer Road or University. Most chain restuarants can be found there. There are also alot of good local places like the Peach Valley Cafe, Mi Appa, and especially Mochi (a fro-yo place with 3 different locations around town). Prices are moderate, but you can find a lot of deals since Gainesville is a college town.

Amazing Atmosphere
UF is such a beautiful campus. Gainesville is the true definition of a college town- everything revolves around the university. There is such a diverse student population with almost a 1,000 student organiztions. Everything from club sports and literary magazines to humans vs. zombies and the rock, paper, scissors club. Popular night life, but studying is a necessity. And few schools can match the pride of the Gator Nation!
