Small Classes and Student Focused
At Seattle University, most of the professors are very good at what they do. The classes are very small so it is an excellent work and study environment and the professors get to know you very well so you are comfortable going to class each day and participating. Each major has a structured curriculum for each year so your freshman year of college, you'll already somewhat know which classes you are taking the rest of the time you are there. For your first quarter you meet with an advisor and they register your classes for you which was very nice because even if classes are full they get you in to whatever you need no matter what. After your first quarter for registering you have to do it online which is very easy. If you do not get into a class that you need by registering for it online there is a process you have to do that gets you the class which is easy as well. There is a large variety of study areas on campus including in the residency halls so finding a quiet place to study is not a problem at SU. Overall academics at SU are great for a small school.

Convenient, Pricey, and Overall Just Fine
For the first two years at Seattle U, you have to live in the dorms. There isn't much of a variety of places to live for Freshman but the Freshman dorms are fine. There is a specific hall for Sophomores which is nice as well. The apartment style living for upper-class men is great because of the cost for what you get and everything is very convenient and close to campus. There really are no best/worst dorms it all just depends what year you are. Everything at Private schools are a little pricey so expect that for your cost of living as well.

Convenient City Transportation
There are many methods of transportation. Obviously biking is one but during the cold months it is probably not the best. There is always the bus which you'll have to look up the routes online and make sure you have the right ones or you'll be lost. There is an Amtrak station and an airport fairly close by as well. All options have an average cost and all are fairly convenient. As for campus, the school is pretty small so walking from class to class will do.
