Learn to Love Them!
One of the great things about attending Oklahoma State University is the beautiful and analogus Georgian architecture, gardens and the charming mix of provided buildings mixed with the taste of the students. A good portion of the facilities on campus have been renovated and a couple, such as Human Sciences, are fairly new. However, some of the older buildings have acquired quite a few bumps and bruises as well as execution problems, such as being able to hear an echo anywhere in the library or the cramped elevators and too few handicapped accessible ramps. Overall, OSU has a gorgeous campus.

Get a Meal Plan
Stillwater has a few good places to eat but most of the college students consume fast food off of campus. There are tons of places to eat on campus, including a grocery store and some are open late and much cheaper than off campus dining.

Campus Is Where It's at
As a lesbian transfer student, I was weary of OSU housing but my experience could not have been better. My RA, Hall Director and neighbors are so tightly knitted. Everyone is welcoming! We all hang out together and the people I've encountered living on campus are incredibly accepting.

It Is Awesome
Living on campus is fun. The dorms can be small but they are cheaper than apartments and it's a great way to meet people.
