Help and Resources for Students' Success

I am a first year Biochemistry major at the University at Albany and so far I am very impressed with the Academics; mostly because of the helps offered by the professors and the teacher assistance in any event that the teacher is unavailable. The first days of classes, the professors make office hours known to students. For lecture classes, almost every professor has his/her notes online(Blackboard or Electronic Reserve); home works, sample/practice tests, and reviews are located online also. If you do not understand any assignment or topic, no need to worry as there are study groups and many resources available to help students succeed.

House Parties Rock

Every weekend there are parties in the campus' ballroom; no need to worry about music because the best DJ's are there to entertain you with the best songs on the hit list. If you would prefer to leave campus, buses run from and to campus every thirty minutes, or you can call the cab to go to the most awesome house parties house parties. The campus never sleeps; you will hear people outside till morning, especially on the weekends.

Rules Are Made to Be Broken

There are rules concerning drugs and alcohol usage on campus while the Resident Assistants adds additional rules that must be followed. Its not a big concern but I see people passed out most of the times, especially on the weekends. Drugs are huge but cigarettes are everywhere. Choose your friends, don't let them choose you.

Good Looks

Beautiful girls; no matter the weather they still dress sexy. I wonder if they don't feel the cold. There are also some classy girls, dresses and act decently. The guys that are the workout nuts always try their best to show of their muscles and abs. The dress styles of everyone differs vastly; guys in suits, skinny jeans, etc. Girls in short shorts, and anything sexy.
