Save Your Money
Nightlife at Kent State University is not a very broad selection. Around the university there are a few bars and clubs. From what I have heard you must be 21 or older in order to enter, and they can get a little expensive. On the weekends I believe the best choice would be to go to the house parties or the fraternities houses. Get to know the boys in the fraternities and you will always be welcome on the weekends. They have dancing and great music for free without having to go to a club or bar.

Absolutely Out of Harm's Way
On the campus of Kent State University I feel safe and protected. In parking lots there are emergency blue lights that if you need the police they will come as fast as possible. Also, within bus stops they have emergency call boxes incase of an emergency. I always see security patrolling the campus which makes you feel protected. Finally, all the dorms are locked in order to prevent nonresidents from entering. Overall I always feel very save on this campus.

Could of Been Better
I barely received any financial aid. It has been very hard coming up with the money to pay for my loans. I did not receive a lot of money from FASFA since my mother was remarried even though her income alone could not help me make my payments. I have tried to work to earn money but with my courses it has been hard to manage my time. All together I need to work harder for scholarships for next year. I would suggest applying for as many scholarships as possible, and talking to a financial aid officer about the loans to help handle all the money issues.
