Experiences at UPS
As a local, I never expected to go to the University of Puget Sound. However, I have enjoyed my time at the university. The campus is taken care of and viewed with pride by us students, if not a little possessively. The courses are rigorous and interesting with professors fully invested in what they are teaching. While I have had very few bad experiences, I can say that clear information during the application process was difficult to acquire as a first generation student, but the professors and staff were willing to assist me when I began attending.

Pierce Country Transportation
Pierce County Transit in the city of Tacoma is rarely on time. In fact, it's almost never on time. The buses are either late or early, depending on the route. However, the buses are clean, safe, and they travel through main thoroughfares and reach frequented destinations by all people.
