its fun because everyone lives downtown. the houses are pretty crappy and the landlords have potential to rip you off for sure. its best if you begin looking for an apartment sooner rather than later. parking is awful, especially in the winter because there isnt any street parking due to snow. its generally safe and everything is very close.

people are in frats or sorieties or there not. it doesnt matter. the parties they throw are big and fun parties but thats not all that goes on. soririties are less popular than fraternities.

Travelling in Vt
No cost for any sort of uvm bus or city bus as long as you have your student id. its deffinelty nice to have for downtown but its not a necessity. long distance transpotation is hard to come by. the airport is really close but other than that its hard to get out of vermont.
