Basketball Oriented

San Diego State is not known for excellence in football or in soccer but that is quite different for basketball. SDSU is no where near as good as some of the division 1 schools but when there is a basketball game the campus and parking structures are packed with fans and supporters. Aside from the main basketball court in the arena, there are several other courts students can play on or even participate in seasonal leagues.

Student Orgs Offer a Variety of Programs

Some of the student organizations on campus are affiliated with outside businesses and programs through previous students who were members. Being a member of a particular group has allowed special discounts or offers to related events in the nearby areas.
