Not a Worry
On the University of South Dakota campus in the small town of Vermillion, South Dakota, I have never felt that I could not walk anywhere alone. The campus is fairly small with each building not far from another. There are call buttons on various sidewalks around the campus should any emergency come up. There are always campus policeman walking and driving around, open to answer any questions or there for any reason.

A Little Bit of Everything
Here in South Dakota, we are bombarded with the wonderful weather transitions. Since the campus is fairly small, its not a huge deal walking but it gets pretty old. In the winter it is very cold because it snows alot, there is about a .1% chance out of 10% that classes will get canceled. However, when the weather gets warmer, people are usually outside running around and playing games.

Somewhat Stressful
With my financial aid, I was very lucky that I had my mom to help me. We went through the paperwork together, although it took so long to complete, it helped alot. After sending it into the financial aid office at USD, it was smooth sailing from there. They set me up with an online account to keep on top of payments and refunds. They have done a great job.
