Required Religion Courses

The coursework at Baylor is very difficult. Each class requires hours of dedication in order to earn a passing grade. Unfortunately, Baylor requires two religion studies courses as well as two semesters of chapel. The religious studies courses are possibly the most difficult courses required as a Freshman, and the chapel course takes up space in the schedule that could be used for studying or to get courses within a student's major out of the way. The fact that these courses are required, and not only required but difficult and time consuming, has never made much sense. If these classes were not a mandatory part of a students schedule, the student could spend more time focusing on the difficult course work that is actually relevant to their desired field of study.

Campus Dining at Baylor University

B

Dining Halls

The dining halls on campus vary in quality. The food in the mens dorm is notoriously bad and ironically open the latest, and is the only one open on weekends. The food in the mail womens dorm is very good, but closes early. It is possible to get good food, but the schedules need to be reversed.

Diversity at Baylor University

Its All Good.. If You Are a Christian

Baylor is one of the few church affiliated schools that actually strives to be religiously oriented. Granted that this is known at the time of registration, there are still students of other religions on campus as the academics are very good and draw in a variety of students. While most are accepting of different races and political beliefs, differences in religion are not always accepted.
