Main South Life
Clark University is located in an area of Worcester known as Main South. While its a little rough around the edges, this area offers a lot to do during the day and at night. During the day there are many festivals on weekends in the fall along with different sorts of cultural parades. There are a few nice parks in the area. As for the nightlife there are a lot of clubs, restaurants, and bars nearby. This is a very lively area of Worcester.

Academics at Clark
Clark is a small school and because of this the professors are really able to get to know their students on a first name basis. They genuinely make an effort to help students both inside and outside of the classroom. Many are very inspiring and make classes extremely worthwhile. The small classes allow students to never feel like a number in a classroom.

Urban Area Awareness
As Clark is located in an urban area there are crimes that occur around campus. The campus police officers are very good at keeping students alert about events that have occurred on campus through "timely warning" emails and texts. Its smart not to walk alone at night and lock doors. While I have never felt unsafe at Clark its smart to be aware and stay alert of whats going on around you.

The Best Place for Me
Being a History major with a concentration in Holocaust and Genocide studies at Clark has been an unbelievable experience. The faculty members are at the top of their field and are extremely passionate about what they study. Clark has access to some of the largest recorded archives of survivors from the Holocaust. Having access to this is a great learning experience.
