There is not a large security presence on our small campus, but regardless I walk the pathways at all hours of the day and night with minimal worries.

Happy to Be Here
Last year I hated it here, but as time has progressed, Macalester has snuzzled it's way into my heart and mind. It would be incredibly ungrateful for me to say anything negative about this school which has such wonderful intentions, educated and progressive students, and always makes a special reach out to minority, LGBTQ students and the international. Macalester will be home to you, whoever you are, wherever you're from, if you just let it.

Wonderful
Macalester is AWESOME at giving financial aid. I haven't had to make a stop in the financial aid office yet, but if need be, I'm sure they will be great but as a whole Mac values students of all economic backgrounds and understands the pressure that money creates on families with children in college.
