Diverse Student Population
West Lafayette, Indiana is a college town mainly of Purdue University students. Student body is very diverse, as we have one of the largest international population in the US. I have friends all over the world, Nigeria, Mexico, Peru, China, Taiwan, France, etc. Mostly everyone is friendly and you could easily strike a conversation with anyone. Also, you will notice many people will willingly hold the door for you. It shows how people think of others, even though a very small thing like holding doors for others.

Many Options for Food and Dining
The dining hall from residence have wide arrange of food choices. There are vegetarian, asian, american style dining halls. In my freshman year, I had 10 meal plan, which was enough for me with dining dollars. My friends who had 20 meal plans and never got to use all, so I suggest having the smallest meal plan at first, since you could increase the number. When I get tired of dining food, I like to try food around the campus and Chauncey mall has all kinds of options. My favorites are sushi, crepes from Greyhouse, Five Guys, etc.

Check Out Chancey Mall
There are so many options to choose from. Pizza at Boiler Market is good. Try gelato and crepes at Greyhouse. I also like eating sushi at Maru, and I love eating dessert ice cream at Dairy Queen or Red Mango.
