Facilities
The facilities are very good on campus. The gym has great hours and always offers many classes to choose from. Around campus there are always different events going on sponsored by different clubs. Many famous speakers come to this school also (Joe Biden, Bill Cosby, etc). Overall, the facilities are accessible and fun

Athletics
Athletics are pretty big at this college. Our football team is very good and games are very fun to go to. Club sports are big here and many students choose to take part in them. For those who don't make club teams or don't have time to commit to them there are also intramural sport teams. From crew to basketball there is a sport for everyone to participate in

Greek Life
Greek life definitely has a presence on campus. While it is big on campus students should not feel pressure into join a fraternity/sorority. Many parties are thrown by frats and generally speaking anyone can get into them providing they have girls and are willing to pay a couple bucks. Greek life gets bigger every year here. Greek life is something that really adds to the college experience but it is not vital to take part in it. A student can still have fun without taking part in Greek life. Frats and sororities are not stereotypical here, they have higher gap's than the school average and provide great philanthropy. Greek life here has both the partying and philanthropic aspects.

Very Good Campus Dining
The dining halls on campus are very good. I was very surprised when I came here to find out that the food was not crappy dining hall food. Russell is great for desserts and they serve the UDcreamery ice cream. Rodney is also very convenient and always has a variety of options. Point and flex can be used at Trabant and the Scrounge at places like Chick fil A and Burger Studio. Also point/flex can be used at football games and concerts which is very convenient

Great College Town
The town of Newark is the perfect college town. A lot of schools are completely barren with no shops or restaurants, but Udel doesn't have that problem. There are a lot of great restaurants and bars around campus that give the town a lively feel. Sometimes festivals and food fairs are held around campus also. Whether you want to get something to eat, walk around or just get some fresh air Newark has something to interest you.

Computers Are Accessible
The school always has computers open for students, but internet access can be unpredictable. Also, it can be hard to print papers out. Overall, the computers are good, but not great

Dorms Are Good Overall
Upperclassmen dorms such as the Towers are great. They are clean, spacious and everything a college student could ask for. Freshman dorms are not necessarily as nice. The best freshman dorms in terms of accommodations are in George Reed; George Reed houses a lot of housing for athletes and has nice suite style rooms. Rodney and Dickenson are usually said to be the worst dorms. However, both these dorms are very social and are good for breaking Freshman out of their shells. In addition, Rodney has air conditioning which is a huge plus, people who don't live in Rodney say it sucks, but those who do generally love it. Overall, the university provides many options for housing that are convenient, social and clean

Very Good Academics
The school makes sure to provide classes that help you gain knowledge in your major. In addition, breadth requirements enable students to take courses outside of there majors in order to become more well-rounded students and people in general. The professors at this school are very knowledgable, well-educated and generally willing to help any student.

Nightlife Is Great for All Ages
Parties are definietly a big part of the Udel nightlife. There is never a weekend where parties aren't going on. These parties are usually always thrown by a frat, sport or club. Rarely, do people ever get rejected from parties, sometimes guys will have to pay to get in, but its usually just a couple of dollars ($3). The bar scene is great for students who are 21 and students who have cars have the option of driving to nearby cities (Philly, Baltimore, D.C, New York) to go to bigger night clubs. For students who don't like to party there are usually coffee houses and other non-drinking events on the weekends as well as the weekdays. Transportation is accessible here, however since parties are in close proximity to dorms most students just walk. House parties are bigger here than bars/clubs, but the school does offer both. Students who wish to drink during the week will generally not find it hard to find a place to go. Nightlife is a huge part to this campus

Buses and Trains Are Very Accessible
Udel has a great campus busing system. Although most students will opt to walk or ride there bikes to class, the school does have buses that run on consistent schedules. Also, these schedules can be easily tracked using mobile apps/twitter. The campus bus can also take students to the DART bus station if they wish to go places off campus such as the Christiana Mall. A train station is located right inside Newark is affordable and efficient. Students who live in nearby states such as New Jersey or New York can use this train to get home

Not Much to Worry About
Newark has some problems with crime, but students should not feel unsafe on campus. Most crimes are thefts so students should watch out and keep a close eye on their things. Small thefts and robberies happen here occasionally, but I have never meet anyone who was a victim of a more serious crime.

Campus Is Not Very Strict
Getting away with drinking/partying is not difficult here. Campus police are visible on campus, but they do not bother students unless that student is acting like a drunken idiot. Also, the school's amnesty policy helps keep underage students who are caught drinking out of facing legal troubles

No Great, but Getting Better
The overall student population is white. However, there are definitely people who add to the diversity of the school. This school has a fairly large gay population which is well-recepted on campus. Also there are a good amount of asian students on campus. From an economic standpoint students range from upper-class to lower class. Diversity here is not great, but is growing every year.

Variety of Options
Main street is packed with options to satisfy any students needs. Ranging from italian to indian to Japanese, Newark offers a variety of cuisine. Also since the school is located so close to Wilmington, Philly and Baltimore a student can venture to some of these cities to expand their food options even further.
