Not Bad.
The quality of food is pretty good, the only negative is that the menu at the dining hall doesn't change all year. If you are a vegetarian it is not impossible to eat there, but the dining at USD does not have a bunch of variety for vegetarians. Overall our food is not bad.

Typical
At the beginning of the year there is a lot of parties,especially at Halloween. The drinking and parties slow down by the second semester. The all boys dorms is typical for having the smell of pot wafting from the windows. Can easily avoid alchol, drug scene if you choose to.

Easy to Get Something.
Almost every one I know has some financial aid from the school, whether it is a scholarship, grant, working scholarship, or loan. The One Stop Service center is efficient and always open.
