Safe and Sound
The campus seems very safe. It's a large campus, but I feel just as safe walking alone at night compared to the day. There are buttons strewn all across campus, so if there were something bad to happen, I could press the button and the police would be there within a couple of minutes. My dad didn't like the idea of me living on campus because he thought it wasn't safe for a girl to be out alone, but during freshman orientation, my dad was convinced to let me go to Illinois State because he knew that I'd be secure and safe.

Greek Life Is Overwhelming
Personally, I don't like fraternities or sororities. I think that they're all about partying, drinking, getting wasted, and having one night stands. I hear about it and see this happen all the time during the weekend. It disgusts me because there's just too much going on and being in college is more about the academics, not about partying. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to party too, but there are limits. I like to have fun too and I think having a great time is a part of the college experience, but I know there are other ways to have fun without underage drinking, the chaotic Rush week, and being consumed in the Greek life.

Plenty of Parking to Go Around
I think parking is practically everywhere. When my family and friends come down to see me, we find parking very quickly. Parking on campus doesn't seem too much of a hassle. When I walk around and see other students parking their car to get to class, they manage to find a parking space. I really think that parking isn't hard to come by.
