New England Culinary Institute Tuition & Financial Aid was reviewed by klovalvo

I love my school, glad I'm not living in the dorms and have my own rules, however, that is not the problem with my school. I've gotten a great education here at NECI, however the financial aid department would do better if it wasn't there. For the past two years, while living off-campus, my family has had myriads of trouble trying to simply get a bottom line tuition for the year. Last year my parents were arguing with the financial aid and wasn't able to get a bottom-line number to take out the loan until JANUARY! This year, DECEMBER! All because every year my parents get statements with different remaining balances/bottom-line numbers. This financial aid department lacks in almost every category and sends out the information and simply receives the information, they don't check the math, or really even know all the different components. We end up getting charged for things I don't want or need, etc. NECI's Financial Aid Department has made my parents hate my school and can't wait until I graduate and they don't have to deal with the uninformed staff, who refers you back and forth between each member, none of them answering the question you really wanted.
