Very Active and Natural – Chico is a small college town, but it is packed with tons of fun outdoor activities for summer and spring time. there is a public pool that is actually a sectioned off part of the river that runs through town. the pool is surrounded by a giant park know as Bidwell park, which is full of trails and outdoor activities to do there. Chico is also only an hour or less away from the mountains, and so is easy to travel to the snow during the winter. There is quite a few parties that happen every thursday-saturday nights, if you know where they are.
