Greek Life at the U of a

Greek life at the University of Arizona takes over the school, in a good and bad way. People may be easily threatened by greek life. There are constant parties within the greek life. Sororities especially start unnecessary drama especially between other houses. Fraternities turn very nice guys into jerks. Greek life is a lot of fun, but can emotionally hurt a student if they get turned down.

Parking at U of a

Parking at U of A is only free on weekends and most lots are free after 5 pm. It is nearly impossible to find a spot especially near the library after 5 pm. To buy a parking pass the prices are extremely high. Even around campus you have to pay to park, a little ridiculous if you ask me.

Weather

You really can't beat the weather in Tucson. It rarely rains at all, constant drought. The winters are mild and the lowest is high 40s and that is dead of winter and at night time. Students start going to the pool in February. Best thing about Tucson is the weather by far.

Off Campus Housing

It's Tucson, enough said. It's a desert, the houses aren't too nice unless you get a house in the Foothills which is far from school. Sam Hughes Neigborhood is also nice but hard to find a rental there.
