Computers at University of Alabama

B

Wifi Unreliable in Dorms

The computer labs on campus are great for the most part, they have the required software and printing is cheap. The wifi in the dorms has gone out several times, and while this wasn't a huge deal to me because I have a smartphone, my friends who had online homework were unhappy to say the least. This happened on multiple occasions.

Facilities at University of Alabama

B+

Football Oriented

Mostly, the facilities are great. The recreation center is state of the art and as long as it's not crowded, it's a great place to be. The Ferguson center is also great, there are tons of dining options and helpful services. Campus activities are generally football oriented, which isn't always a bad thing, but with "hundreds" of student organizations one would think it would be a little easier to find something.

Overall Experience at University of Alabama

A-

Roll Tide!

I wasn't completely sure about making the decision to come to campus, but now that I've been here for a semester I'm very happy. I get to appeal to both sides of my nature: the party girl in me loves football season and the crazy atmosphere that goes along with it, but the academic in me loves being a part of the Honors College and taking classes that challenge me. There are some things that I'm not crazy about, parking on campus stinks and gameday traffic is HORRIBLE. I love the tradition that my school gives me and despite the bureaucracy, I do think the classes I'm taking are worthwhile and I have lots of opportunities to be successful here.
